I was invited to participate in an art show dedicated to trees. It was intriguing to consider creating a tree sculpture. I learned many things while creating this piece and plan on creating a series of unique tree sculptures to explore different shapes and colors.

I have had collectors say, “This doesn’t look like your work.” However, if you look closely you will see the triangular shapes, flat planes and texture that are present in previous work. I am enjoying expanding subject matter and utilizing new materials to express myself through sculpture.
